Welcome to the Law Office of Katherine L. MacKinnon. I founded my firm in 1996 to provide flexible service to my clients in appellate, employment, ERISA, and personal injury litigation matters. I have been a "Minnesota Law and Politics Super Lawyer" since year 2000. Prior to that time, I was a partner with the Minneapolis law firm of Arthur, Chapman, Kettering, Smetak & Pikala. In total, I have over 22 years of litigation experience.

My clients include individuals, small businesses, and insurance companies. I provide services under a variety of arrangements, from direct representation of individual clients to contract relationships with the client's existing law firm. This flexibility allows the client to get the best team possible to meet his or her needs.
